Code of Conduct

  • People invite us into their lives and share with us very intimate information about themselves and their relationships. We consider this a privilege and we ensure that no information is ever disclosed that could identify the people we teach or any details they shared with us.

If you express interest in attending public kink classes and events, we make sure you are also familiar with good practices the kink community has adopted to maintain anonymity and privacy.

  • We uphold a high standard of professional and ethical conduct.

When we teach, we maintain respectful boundaries in communication and interaction. We only act based on unambiguous enthusiastic consent and always err on the side of caution.

We only teach what we know very well. Our personal BDSM practices include activities we don’t teach. That is because we don’t feel that we have the significant depth of knowledge in those areas that we require of ourselves to teach a topic, even to only teach it at the beginner level.

We deeply care about the people we teach. While maintaining appropriate boundaries, we aim to be friendly, helpful, and approachable. You’ll find us willing to listen and talk about any topic you bring to us with empathy and curiosity. With that said, we will only give guidance or advice in the areas where we are qualified to do so, and we will do our best to connect you with other people we trust to fill the gaps where we can’t help you directly.

  • We consider teaching BDSM a calling and we strongly believe in the benefits it can have for people and relationships. Therefore, we strive not to make finances a barrier for people to learn what we teach.

To accomplish this, we price our public classes and private lessons in a manner that makes them as affordable as possible without sacrificing the quality of instruction.

We also make sure that we maximize the value we provide to the people we teach by making sure they know of free resources that are available about any topic they want to learn, even if that means that they don’t hire us to teach them.

  • We cultivate and maintain a growth mindset. We are not know-it-alls. We are learn-it-alls. We don’t think of ourselves as “good people”, but rather people who are always working on being better, and we are insatiable in that pursuit.

We aim not to make the same mistake twice. To that end, we seek feedback, consider it thoroughly, and incorporate what we can of it to improve the way we operate.

We are guided by our values
