Stay in the dungeon and out of the courtroom
Level: All levels
Workshop style: Lecture and discussion
Come join us in learning important information from an ER nurse who is also an experienced kinkster. This class will cover three essential topics for people who engage in BDSM:
A walkthrough of different parts of the human anatomy that will help you make safer choices in your play and understand the risks inherent in many BDSM activities.
The appropriate actions to take in response to the consequences of these types of play.
Risk profiles and their importance in engaging in safer consensual play.
Additionally, the class will contain some discussion of certain law-related aspects that pertain to helping people in emergency situations.
To cultivate a culture of informed consent, both tops and bottoms must understand how different types of play can affect the body. This class gives you the information you need to build your own risk profile and not have to rely on myths and opinions one hears from other kinksters in their community.

What is “KinkRx+”?
KinkRx+ hosts classes by educators who are not part of the KinkRx teaching organization. Our goal is to bring you all the information that helps you on your journey of exploring kink. If we think someone else has good things to teach, we will support them in getting the information out into the world.
Some of the opinions expressed by these educators can differ or conflict with what is taught in KinkRx classes. We see that as a positive thing. While we will not host educators that teach things we believe to be factually incorrect or impossible to do safely, we believe it’s important to present different perspectives and give people the opportunity to decide for themselves what they prefer to do. After all, this is “adult” education: Learn different points of view, do your own research, and form your own opinions.
