Testimonials
I found it really helpful when the same words verbatim were used to describe the steps as they were done for different ties. It is something I will repeat in my head moving forward. I also really liked getting to choose my own tie at the end so everyone can get what they want out of the class if levels vary.
I enjoyed the building blocks —> composition of the building blocks progression. Also the instructors helping and providing feedback/tips aw we were practicing.
Instructors not only demonstrated ties, they also explained tips for handling rope that pictures don’t convey. Printouts were very helpful.
The structure and pacing was really good. Lecture, demo, test, regroup is a great way to do a rope class.
I enjoyed learning the history of Shibari. Class was very informative of the building blocks of rope.
I really appreciated the photos and instructions on how to tie because I am a visual learner so I was able to follow along a lot easier.
I think having the class be demo, practice, regroup was really helpful. Gave plenty of time to practice.
Wonderful class! Very helpful 101. It’s good to get the fundamentals and be directed to where to go to further knowledge too.
A wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Very excited to continue this journey!
This was my 1st time working with rope, so I was a little nervous + not sure what to expect. The instructors were knowledgeable, professional, + so helpful at explaining the hows + whys of tying. I will definitely be coming back to take more classes!
Definitely beginner friendly, with a casual environment good for learning or reviewing basics and building on them
