Attendees must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age required in the jurisdiction of the Event).
If an Attendee is younger than 18 years old (or the legal age required in the jurisdiction) they will proactively inform the Instructors of their age and not wait for the Instructors to verify it.
Attendees will thoroughly read and sign this waiver before they attend the class.
Attendees agree never to use the knowledge and/or skills they learn at Events to commit illegal acts or crimes. Instructors are not responsible for how Attendees apply their knowledge and/or skills outside Events.
Attendees must present valid physical government identification documents that are deemed adequate by the Instructors. Information on the presented identification documents must match that on the waiver signed by the Attendee. Failure to provide such identification results in refusal of entry to the Event without refund.
Attendees will treat Instructors and other Attendees with courtesy and respect at Events.
Attendees will follow all safety instructions from the Instructors. If they don’t wish to, they will limit their participation to observing the Event or leave the Event.
Attendees will not practice skills or techniques other than what the Instructors demonstrated at the Event.
Attendees will refrain from disruptive, harassing, or unsafe behavior.
Attendees will not touch any other person or their personal belongings without explicit permission.
Attendees will wear clothing that covers their nipples, genitals, and anus at all times.
Attendees will not attend Events while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Attendees will not participate in any activity at Events while they are in an altered state that impairs their ability to keep themselves and others safe.
Attendees understand that being an Instructor does not require or confer any positive character traits.
Attendees acknowledge that Instructors are fallible and imperfect human beings that have many of the character flaws observed in the average member of the Seattle public kink scene.
Attendees acknowledge that Instructors hold no power or authority over Attendees outside of Events.
Attendees understand that, outside of Events, they can treat Instructors in the same manner Attendees treat any member of the Seattle public kink scene.
Attendees understand that interacting with Instructors outside of Events carries with it the same risks and responsibilities of interacting with anyone in the Seattle public kink scene.
Attendees will never assume that Instructors know what’s best for them. Attendees will always rely on their own judgement and critical thinking to decide whether to practice any of the skills or techniques that Instructors suggest. This applies both during and after Events.
Attendees understand that they can at any time withdraw their consent to attend or participate in an Event. Withdrawing consent as needed is a valued mode of participation in Events.
During practice times at Events, Attendees will stop immediately if their practice partner withdraws their consent.
Attendees will immediately stop any activity if instructed to do so by the Instructors.
Attendees acknowledge that Events may include discussion of sensitive topics that result in significant mental and emotional distress.
Attendees will notify Instructors of any physical or psychological concerns before engaging in any activity during Events.
Attendees will notify Instructors immediately of any injury that occurs during an Event.
Attendees agree not to record audio or video.
Attendees agree not to take photos during Events without explicit permission from Instructors and all individuals who may appear in the photos.
Attendees agree not to out or dox other Attendees and not to acknowledge or approach other Attendees outside of Events in any manner that betrays that anyone involved practices kink or BDSM.
While KinkRx Team members do their best to protect Attendee privacy, Attendees acknowledge that by being at an Event there's always a risk of being outed intentionally or unintentionally by other Attendees.
Attendees agree to behave in a careful manner that does not cause any damage to the venue where the Event takes place. Attendees also agree to notify an Instructor immediately if they cause such damage or observe other Attendees causing such damage. Such damage includes but is not limited to the use of glitter at the Event venue.

Attendees understand that:
The conduct of the KinkRx Team is outlined in the KinkRx code of conduct. Attendees are expected to use the Contact Page to reach out to the KinkRx Team before Events to get clarification about any aspect of Kink Team member conduct that is important to the Attendee. This includes information about aspects that are unclear in, or missing from, the KinkRx code of conduct.
Conduct of educators who are not members of the KinkRx Team is governed by the individual educator's code of conduct. Attendees are expected to contact these educators, before Events where these educators are invited to teach, to get clarification about any aspect of the educator’s conduct that is important to the Attendee.
The KinkRx Team is always eager and happy to receive feedback about KinkRx Team members or educators invited to teach at Events. Such feedback can be provided via the Contact Page.
Other than what’s stated in the KinkRx code of conduct, Instructors hold themselves to the same standard as any ethical and responsible member of the Seattle public kink scene. Instructors claim no elevated values, ethics, or conduct.
Instructors are educational service providers in the areas of their interests and expertise.
Instructors have no official qualifications or credentials in any of the areas they teach as no such qualifications or credentials exist for kink.
Instructors teach based on their personal opinions and experience and not based on any official source of knowledge as no such sources exist for kink.
Instructors see themselves as peers of Attendees and might be less knowledgeable or less skilled than some Attendees in many topics including the topic of the Event. KinkRx Team members do not identify as and do not consent to be labeled or treated as community leaders, mentors, guides, or gurus.
Instructors expect Attendees to exercise good judgment and critical thinking in learning or implementing what they learn.
Instructors reserve the right to refuse to teach any Attendee if the an Instructor believes any of the following is true:
The Attendee in question demonstrates behavior or causes conditions that can create risk, violate laws/rules, or disrupt operation of Events.
The Attendee in question demonstrates behavior that can be characterised by the Instructors as discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, marital status, creed, age, or any other legally protected class.
The Attendee in question violates the Terms of Service stated on this page.
Refusal to teach an Attendee includes, but is not limited to, refusing the Attendee entry to an Event.
Instructors have the right to stop Attendees from participating during Events. This can be in any way that the Instructors deem necessary, including but not limited to requiring some Attendees to stop practicing certain techniques, requiring some Attendees not to participate in discussions, or requiring some Attendees to leave the Event.
Instructors have the right and authority to enforce any and all of the Terms of Service on this website at their own discretion. Not enforcing any part of the Terms of Service at one time does not curtail the Instructors' right or authority to enforce it at a later time.
-
Attendees agree to:
Notify KinkRx through the Contact Page within 30 days of any concerning incident they experience during an Event and provide their account of the incident.
Provide any actionable and reasonable requests for resolution, if the Attendee requires a resolution to the incident. Whether these requests are actionable and reasonable will be determined by the KinkRx Team.
The KinkRx Team agree to:
Hear the Attendees’ accounts of incidents.
Go through a process of discernment to understand the details of incidents.
Get feedback from people who have relevant experience and skills.
Seek resolution using restorative and transformative frameworks.
Attempt to meet any actionable and reasonable requests.
Attendees and the KinkRx Team commit to engaging in such a process in a collaborative spirit and with good will. Involved parties have the option to seek mediation if a resolution cannot be reached through the aforementioned process. Mediation costs, if any, will be shared between Attendees and the KinkRx Team unless otherwise agreed.
-
Attendees acknowledge that:
Tickets are non‑refundable unless the Event is canceled. In the event of cancellation, the base ticket price is refunded, but not the fees that the ticketing platform charges.
Tickets are transferable up to 5 business days before the Event. Ticket transfer requests must be communicated to the KinkRx Team via the Contact Page and must include the names and email addresses of the people to whom tickets will be transferred.
Ticket transfers must be confirmed by the KinkRx Team to be considered completed. Without confirmation, Attendees other those who listed during ticket purchase will not be admitted to the Event.
-
Attendees affirm:
That they have read and understood these Terms of Service.
That they agree to abide by all these Terms of Service.
That they understand that violation of these Terms of Service may at least result in removal from present and future Events.
